Clay & Paper Theatre is seeking 4 Performers, an Assistant Director and a Stage Manager for our summer production, The Circus of Dark and Light.  

These are full-time positions, from June 7 – August 17, 2010, with a variable schedule including evenings and weekends.  

For all positions you must be a post-secondary student returning to school in the fall. Clay & Paper Theatre is a small but mighty OUTDOOR theatre company; applicants must be prepared to work in beautiful Dufferin Grove Park in all kinds of weather and at a wide range of tasks to ensure the success of the summer season! Clay & Paper Theatre is a pro-cycling theatre – bicycle riders preferred for all positions! 

As members of our Summer Troupe, performers will learn the arts of puppeteering and outdoor performance and participate in several community festivals. Those with some musical ability are preferred. 

The Assistant Director will take direction from the Artistic Director and lead the summer troupe through the rehearsal and performance process. This individual must be comfortable directing peers, delegating tasks, leading rehearsals and must be very organized, punctual and responsible.  

We are also interviewing for the position of Stage Manager. This individual must be extremely organized, diplomatic and have demonstrated experience in Stage Management.
